(Access to Long Ridge with dogs is only allowed on a small section of the Bay Area Ridge Trail (1.4 miles). The entrance is on CA 35, and visitors with dogs must have the dog on a minimum 6-foot leash at all times, and must fill out a self-administered permit at the trailhead.)
